Iron Maiden has built a brilliant career spanning almost 40 years. And although they are one of the greatest bands of all time, the Iron Maiden have not been free from controversy and some moments of less satisfaction from fans.
One of the biggest moments of uncertainty the group ever faced was the departure of vocalist Bruce Dickinson in the 90s. Replaced by Blaze Bayley , the singer was sorely missed.
Despite having a good voice, Bayley wasn't a perfect fit for Iron Maiden. For some fans, the albums released during his time don't compare to the band's most brilliant albums, as Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith became quite a duo when they sat down and wrote together.
Now, years after Dickinson's return, it's possible to find the strengths of that era, a phase that, while not showcasing Iron Maiden creating their best artwork, did give life to some beautiful pieces.
Check out our selection of the best Iron Maiden tracks from the Blaze Bayley era below, and let us know in the comments which ones we missed.
