Iron Maiden has announced that it will release a special edition of its self-titled debut album, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
The edition will feature a transparent vinyl record with an image of the iconic Eddie and will be released on October 9th. It is already available for pre-order on the band's official website and will be sold in a limited number of copies.
The Iron Maiden lineup 40 years ago consisted of Paul Di'Anno on vocals, Clive Burr on drums, Dennis Stratton and Dave Murray on guitar, and Steve Harris on bass. See the album below and then listen to the remastered version from Iron Maiden 's 2015 album.
