It's difficult to talk about an Iron Maiden . That's because it's more than just a show. Everything works together to create a spectacle bigger than any other. The Legacy Of The Beast Tour is music, it's film, it's history, it's video games. It's everything.

Starting with the opening band, The Raven Age , which features George Harris , son of Iron Maiden's bassist. The group delivers top-quality melodic metalcore, which earned them full support from the main band's fans.

Conspiracy , the recently released Raven Age album, is one example proving that rock is alive and well. The show is heavy, technically well-executed, and powerful. A great way to set the stage for Iron Maiden.

When the sextet enters the stage, to the sound of Winston Churchill , the audience knows what they are about to see. It's impossible to watch impassively. That's why there are all the shouts, applause, and expressions of ecstasy. Nobody thinks, "Will the show be good?". You are certain that it will be.

The Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo seemed to be hosting a World Cup final. At the end of each song, it was an Iron Maiden goal, with exuberant celebrations. For this, the band presents a true metal opera. Starting with "Aces High," with a British Air Force fighter jet flying over the stage and Bruce Dickinson in pilot's attire.

Bruce is the master of ceremonies and lead actor in the show. He changes costumes and characters with each new song, as they are all extremely epic and have very literary themes.

In “Where Eagles Dare,” for example, the stage transforms into a snowy landscape. In “The Clansman,” a song originally sung by Blaze Bayley , we experience a fight for Scottish freedom, and so on.

Besides Bruce, the musicians Steve Harris, Nicko McBrain, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, and Janick Gers are true masters. The guitars scream, the bass gallops, and the drums command the overwhelming war platoon that is the band.

Iron Maiden revives a classic from the 1980s, "Flight Of Icarus," in which Bruce Dickinson, in addition to delivering a perfect vocal performance, wields two flamethrowers in reference to the melted wings of the character Icarus.

Then comes the devastating sequence of "Fear Of The Dark," "Number Of The Beast," and "Iron Maiden." These are epic moments, when the audience becomes a unified chorus narrating the tragedies enacted by the Iron Maiden.

“The Evil That Men Do” opens the final sequence, with “Hallowed Be Thy Name” and “Run To The Hills” consecrating the journey through history according to Iron Maiden. Finally, after all the phases unfold on stage, another brilliant touch from the band: the speakers play “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life,” a song from the classic comedy Life of Brian by Monty Python . In the show, just like in the film, the epic sagas conclude, and the feeling that remains is that this experience is, definitively, one that will never leave anyone's mind.
