Iron Maiden leaders talk about the new tour

Regarding the tour, vocalist Bruce Dickinson said: “Next year is very special. And we’re going to give our fans a once-in-a-lifetime live experience. This will be a tour that will put a smile on your face and a scream in your throat. If you’ve seen us before, get ready to take that experience to a whole new level. If you’ve never seen us, then what the hell are you waiting for? Now is your chance to find out what you’ve been missing! Iron Maiden will definitely get you!”

Manager Rod Smallwood adds: “50 years of Maiden and I’ve seen 46 of them! With well over 100 million albums sold and almost 2,500 shows in 64 countries and counting, for millions of fans, we’re still loving every second and consider each tour a new challenge to bring something different and exciting to our fans. And for this very special show, we’re doing everything we can!”

On Saturday, June 28th, the band will perform at London Stadium , home of West Ham Football Club – Steve Harris's team, with which the band has a long history. Besides the bassist, Dave Murray , Adrian Smith and Nicko McBrain were also born in the area near the stadium, which will be the largest venue in the UK where the band has ever headlined, not counting festival appearances.

Steve Harris says: “My love for football and my support for West Ham is no secret, and I know that many of our fans around the world share this with me. That's why we're so excited to be playing at the London Stadium as part of the tour. We can't wait to see you all there!”
