Photos show how the cover of Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son was supposed to be painted and cut out.
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the release of the iconic album Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son , Iron Maiden posted previously unseen images from that time depicting how the cover was designed.
Because it was released in 1988, digital techniques and editing software were not yet available.
One of the images shows the handwritten indication of the colors that should be used for the album title. The other photo shows the crop that should be made for the front and back covers.
