Iron Maiden 's new record label , Warner Music, announced that in addition to reaching number 1 in the UK, their newly released album "The Book Of Souls" also debuted at the top of the charts in 23 other countries.
This is the fifth time Iron Maiden has reached number one in the UK (the first time was with the legendary "The Number Of The Beast"). The album achieved excellent chart positions in other countries as can be seen in the table below:
#1 in Germany, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Finland, Greece, Netherlands, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Serbia, Sweden and Switzerland;
