After releasing behind-the- scenes footage of the recording of their new album Senjutsu Iron Maiden has made available a new video which can be seen below.
While the first video featured Bruce Dickinson , Steve Harris , and producer Kevin Shirley in the studio, the video released today features guitarist Adrian Smith talking about the experience.
Maiden's seventeenth studio album was recorded at Guillaume Tell Studios in Paris, France, in early 2019. At the time, the band took a break from their Legacy of the Beast .
Adrian Smith tells us that the album has songs of very diverse styles, that Steve Harris's longer songs were recorded in parts, and that he heard people commenting that "The Writing On The Wall" sounded somewhat country, but that for him it is much more folk.
Senjutsu was revealed to the public after a mysterious announcement and several clues that led fans to the premiere of the single "The Writing on The Wall" on July 15th , and then revealed the cover, tracklist, title, and release date of the album .
