Iron Maiden will launch a new beer in partnership with a British soldiers' NGO.

The band maintains its beer business.

Iron Maiden has announced a partnership with Robinsons Brewery for a new beer.

Entitled Light Brigade, the new drink will have an alcohol content of 4.1% and was created to raise money for the Help For Heroes , which cares for veterans of the British Armed Forces whose lives have been affected in some way after their service.

Bruce Dickinson, the band's frontman and the person responsible for the collaboration, revealed that he was very proud of the work:

"I have taught flying to many soldiers through Help For Heroes, so I know the organization and its work very well."

Light Brigade is our interpretation of a gold ale that possesses the strength and character of Trooper. In fact, the two beers complement each other very well.”

Light Brigade beer is available for pre-order here and deliveries will begin on February 1st. It will be available in supermarkets and pubs in the UK from February 19th.
