Iron Maiden: "I'm sure we'll have more albums in the future," says Steve Harris

The group's last studio album, 'The Book of Souls', was released in 2015

In an interview for The Eddie Trunk Podcast , Steve Harris spoke about the possibility of new Iron Maiden .

The bassist also recalled the first song he composed: "Endless Pit". Despite finding the name awful, the bassist said that its riff was used in "Innocent Exile", a track from Iron Maiden's Killers

When discussing his solo project and his work with the rock band, the musician emphasizes how "the guys from British Lion are all good writers; and Maiden too, they are very strong writers.".

When asked about Iron Maiden's next steps, Harris commented on possible albums. “We talked about it recently and Bruce [Dickinson] was saying to me, ‘How many albums do you want to make?’ And I said, ‘Well, it depends on all of us.’ But I think everyone is interested in doing more things, so I’m sure we’ll have more albums in the future.”.

The group's last studio album, titled The Book of Souls, was released in 2015.
