Eddie will be introduced on October 18th
In celebration of Halloween, which takes place this month, the developers of the Angry Birds game have teamed up with Iron Maiden to transform Eddie into a character in Angry Birds Evolution.
The mascot Eddie will only be in the game for two weeks, but those who recruit him will be able to keep him indefinitely.
The company, Rovio Entertainment, created four different versions of the game, based on the albums Killers , Powerslave , Somewhere in Time , and The Book of Souls .
“We have many Iron Maiden fans on our team, so Eddie was a natural choice for Angry Birds Evolution ,” said Miika Tams, president of the company, “it’s time for Eddie to be celebrated as a true rock icon and we know fans will love seeing Eddie the bird .
