Iron Maiden's Legacy of the Beast Tour show

Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast Tour 2019 has dates revealed

Iron Maiden promises "biggest production ever" for the Legacy of the Beast Tour.

Iron Maiden will return in 2019 with the Legacy of the Beast Tour . The band has called the tour "the biggest production ever." Their appearance in Brazil at Rock in Rio next year had already been announced.

The tour will be inspired by the mobile game Iron Maiden's Legacy of the Beast . “We will take our fans to different worlds and experiences with each song,” stated Bruce Dickinson in a press release. “It’s not easy to create different worlds on stage and we’ve put in a tremendous amount of work to make it work. The result will be the most spectacular and certainly the most complex show we’ve ever done.”

Dickinson continued, “We’ll have all sorts of crazy things happening. That includes a replica Spitfire plane during ‘Aces High,’ tons of pyrotechnics, a giant Icarus, muskets, swords, and a flamethrower. Which I’ll have a lot of fun with, you’ll see. And of course, we’ll have Eddie as we’ve never seen him before, and several other surprises. I’ve had the time of my life playing with these props on stage. It’s been fantastic, we can’t wait to bring this show to you!”

Bassist Steve Harris said it will be “a strong and well-balanced set with songs we haven’t played in many years. Like 'Flight Of Icarus', 'Sign Of The Cross' and 'The Clansman'. With tracks we know fans want to hear like 'The Trooper,' '2 Minutes To Midnight,' 'The Number Of The Beast,' 'Fear Of The Dark,' 'Run To The Hills,' 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' and others.”
