Iron Maiden has revealed an unprecedented partnership with English football club West Ham. Titled "Die With Your Boots On ," in homage to the 1983 song, the line is spearheaded by the band's co-founder Steve Harris , a big fan of the team.

“I went to see a West Ham vs. Newcastle game when I was nine and my friend was ten,” he says, “We went by bus and they won 4-3, and that was it. I was mesmerized.”.

Fans of the band already know of Harris's love for the team, and those who have had the pleasure of seeing them live are familiar with the flag he carries on stage, as well as his bass, which features the team's logo.

Speaking about the launch, which took place with Argentinian player Pablo Zabaleta , he said: “I think it’s brilliant. I really love this version and color of the crest, and this good old type of uniform. It’s a modern format but with a retro design, and I like that. Up the Irons!”

The products are available for sale on the official Iron Maiden and West Ham .
