Following in the footsteps of AC/DC , Motörhead and Sepultura, Iron Maiden is the latest band to announce its own brand of beer.
The drink, named "The Trooper," will be produced by the English brewery Robinson, and was created in partnership between the brewers and Bruce Dickinson.
Dickinson said: “I’m a fan of traditional English beer. When they asked me if I wanted to create my own, I thought I’d died and gone to heaven.” Regarding the process of securing the partnership with Robinson, Dickinson said: “These were the only people I’d had to audition for in the last 30 years. I was very nervous.”.
"The Trooper" will be available for purchase on the official website starting in May.
