Iron Maiden performed last Saturday, the 27th, at Pedreira Paulo Leminski in Curitiba, kicking off the Brazilian leg of their Legacy of the Beast tour.
This was the band's sixth visit to the capital of Paraná and their first since 2013. The show featured an opening act by the Swedish band Avatar , who are touring with Iron Maiden in Brazil.
The setlist performed by Bruce Dickinson , Steve Harris , Nicko McBrain , Dave Murray , Adrian Smith , and Janick Gers was the same as the entire European tour. The show began with the three singles from their latest album Senjutsu : the title track, "Stratego," and "The Writing on the Wall." The band is now heading to Ribeirão Preto, where they will perform on August 30th at the Arena Eurobike, followed by a show at Rock in Rio on September 2nd, and a performance at Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo on September 4th.
