Iron Maiden is back in the studio, confirms Bruce Dickinson

"Great things will happen in the near future," says Bruce

Iron Maiden is the latest band to claim they are using their time in quarantine to produce new music, according to Bruce Dickinson .

“A lot of things didn’t happen this year, that’s extremely obvious,” says a masked, long-haired Bruce in a video on the band’s official channel. “That’s very, very frustrating. However, we have plans. In the meantime, what are we doing? Well, we’re writing some things. I’m talking to Steve [Harris] . We’re working together a bit in the studio. About what, I can’t tell you, because they’d have to kill me.”

“Our entire team is on board with us,” he continues. “Obviously, after the cancellation and rescheduling of this year’s shows, all of our lives were put on hold. The killer team is still on board for when we get back to normal service next year, whenever that is. In the meantime, we’ll all still be here. We’re still nervous and anxious to go. We’re not leaving. We’re solid and there will be great things happening in the near future.”
