Sound engineer spoke on Facebook
Iron Maiden 's sound engineer , Tony Newton, posted on his Facebook page that Iron Maiden's shows in São Paulo and at Rock In Rio will be professionally recorded.
"Heading to Brazil today to record Iron Maiden in São Paulo and Rock In Rio. It'll be great to see the band and crew, but I'm not too excited about the two tiring flights in 6 days!"
It is still uncertain whether the recordings will be made commercially available.
Speaking about the tour last month, Bruce Dickinson commented on the technology of the “Maiden England Tour”: “I can say that it’s not the same as the 1988 Seventh Son of a Seventh Son Tour. The technology, the production and the lighting have evolved a lot. It allowed us to show everything in a different way again. You could say that this show is a historical perspective of Iron Maiden.”
Iron Maiden will play in São Paulo on the 20th, at Rock In Rio on the 22nd, and in Curitiba on the 24th.
