In 1985, some of the biggest names in music gathered at John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia to hold the most important music festival in history, which would help combat famine in Ethiopia: Live Aid .
Seeing such a star-studded lineup for such a noble cause at a new edition of Live Aid is a dream for many artists and, certainly, for many music lovers. Therefore, we ask you: Who would you like to see at a new edition of Live Aid?
The gold medal, with 261 votes out of 563 in total, went to the band that is slated to return for the fifth time to Rock in Rio 2021 , and certainly, the reason for so many appearances is that the band is responsible for putting on one of the best shows not only in the world of rock, but in the entire music industry. Of course, we are talking about none other than Iron Maiden .
Black Sabbath won second place with 216 votes, expressing the desire to see Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi , and Bill Ward reunited once again in grand style, playing the classics that invented heavy metal and made them music legends.
Lastly, and definitely not least, is another giant of live shows that draw endless crowds: AC/DC . With classics filling their setlists, a chorus accompanying the band on every word, and the opportunity to witness Angus Young (and his uniform) live, the band earns the bronze medal in our poll.
