What does Senjutsu mean?
The group's new album is called Senjutsu , a Japanese term that, in a free translation, means "tactics and strategies," but can also refer to skill, technique, resources, and, most intriguingly, magic.
When will the album be released?
Senjutsu will be released on September 3rd by Parlophone and is already available for pre-order at this link.

Iron Maiden has shared the cover art, tracklist, and two singles. This is the first time in the band's history that they've released two singles before the album. In addition, they've been posting some behind-the-scenes videos of the recording process on YouTube.

What is the album's duration?
The 10 tracks mentioned above total 82 minutes, only 10 minutes less than their previous album, The Book of Souls, from 2015.
Senjutsu
mark for the group? The album will be Iron Maiden's 17th studio album and their first in six years – the longest period the band has ever waited to release an album.
Where was the album recorded?
Senjutsu was recorded at Guillaume Tell Studio in France, the same location as The Book of Souls from 2015.
Who produced the album?
Senjutsu was produced by Kevin Shirley , a longtime collaborator of the band, who also produced The Book of Souls (2015), The Final Frontier (2010), A Matter of Life and Death (2006), Dance of Death (2003), and Brave New World (2000).
When did the band finish recording?
Bruce Dickinson revealed during an exclusive interview with Metal Hammer that Senjutsu was completed in 2019, but remained "locked in a vault" for two years for fear that the material would be leaked online. None of the band members listened to the album during that period.
Dickinson revealed that the first time he heard the album since then was in 2020, when Iron Maiden was mixing the audio for their live album Nights Of The Dead , recorded in Mexico . The vocalist listened to the album with Steve Harris and they later decided to release it.
