Band raises US$19 million in one week
In Billboard's "Hot Tours" list, which tallies the earnings of all music tours each week, Iron Maiden came in first place, with earnings of US$19 million.
The sum comes from 13 shows in 7 different countries on the Maiden England Tour. During the week, Iron Maiden's audience totaled 259,298 people.
In second and third place were Taylor Swift, with $18,210,864, and Justin Bieber, with $5,673,568.
Iron Maiden's England tour will pass through Brazil in September, in São Paulo on the 20th and in Curitiba on the 24th. Iron Maiden will also play at Rock In Rio on the 22nd.
