Iron Maiden returned to the stage this Sunday, the 28th, with the highly anticipated Future Past Tour , and the fans' dream came true: the band finally performed "Alexander The Great" live.

The show took place at Arena Stožice in Slovenia on Sunday afternoon, Brasília time. As the performance unfolded, the band released each track of the setlist on social media. The current tour features a repertoire that blends the band's past and present, primarily celebrating the albums Senjutsu (2021) and the acclaimed Somewhere In Time (1986).

The performance was marked by many live debuts of Iron Maiden songs and the return of tracks that hadn't been played live in some time. According to Setlist.fm , four songs were performed for the first time in the band's history: from Senjutsu , "Days of Future Past," "The Time Machine," "Death of the Celts," and "Hell On Earth" were included, while "Alexander the Great" was the big debut from Somewhere In Time .

Furthermore, the setlist featured six songs that had been revived after years of absence from Maiden's live shows: "Caught Somewhere in Time" hadn't been performed since 1987, while "Stranger in a Strange Land" had been absent from tours since 1999 and "Heaven Can Wait" since 2008. From other albums, the song "Can I Play With Madness" was revived, performed for the first time since 2014.
