Due to the incident with Iron Maiden's Ed Force One plane at Santiago, Chile airport , the English band had to improvise and continue their journey by land to avoid missing their scheduled shows in Córdoba and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The band's legendary manager, Rod Smallwood, issued an official statement that reads as follows:
"We are happy to tell our fans in Córdoba that our Killer Krew has managed to arrange the logistics so that we will all be there for you tomorrow with our full show."
We don't want any interruptions to our tour and we're waiting for the new 747 Ed Force One while the previous one is being repaired. Until then, believe me, we'll get to you one way or another, wherever you are.
We are also very happy to announce that the two Chilean airport employees who were injured in the incident will make a full recovery. We wish them and their families all the best.
Up the Irons! See you soon. And thank you Chile, what a show and what an incredible reception!!
