Iron Maiden: Bruce Dickinson confirms "Alexander the Great" for the new tour

The musician confirmed during a lecture that the classic song 'Somewhere In Time' will be included in the band's new tour

Bruce Dickinson confirmed during one of his "What Does This Button Do?" , part of the tour for his biography of the same name, that Iron Maiden setlist.fm, the song is one of 44 that the group has never played live.

The news was revealed without many details during the talk when the musician was asked if the classic from Somewhere In Time (1986) would be part of the group's 2023 tour, The Future Past Tour . Bruce then let the audience answer. Of course, the answer was a resounding yes, accompanied by much applause. The chat took place last Thursday, the 12th, in Oslo, Norway.

"Alexander The Great" is a song that fans have long questioned the group about, regarding why they don't include it in their setlists. So far, the only public statement on the matter was made by Dickinson, also during a lecture, saying that there are many other songs for them to play and this one is simply left out.
