The "Hot Tours" list published by Billboard, which tallies the earnings of all music tours each week, placed Iron Maiden in first place for the third time this year, with earnings of US$15 million.
The amount comes from 9 shows in 6 different countries on the Maiden England Tour and includes the shows in São Paulo and Curitiba. In total, Iron Maiden's audience for the week was 263,860 people and does not include the band's performance at Rock In Rio.
Elton John came in second place with US$8 million.
Over 900,000 people have seen Iron Maiden live since June of last year, the start of the Maiden England Tour.
