Iron Maiden and West Ham United Steve Harris 's favorite team ) have formed a new partnership to launch an away shirt, training jackets, and other sportswear. The shirt is available for sale on the West Ham website , and the rest of the products are on pre-sale at the official Iron Maiden store.
The new items are part of the Die With Your Boots On , created in 2019 by the band and the English football team for the launch of a personalized shirt. Due to its success, Iron Maiden and West Ham repeated the collaboration, adding new products. The new shirt was modeled by Steve Harris himself and player Saïd Benrahma .
In a statement, Steve Harris wrote: “It was incredible to see the number of Iron Maiden and West Ham fans who bought the first shirt. With West Ham doing so well in the Premier League right now, it seems like a good time to launch this 'away' shirt. I'm very happy to continue the Maiden/West Ham partnership… Who knows, it might bring us luck for a Champions League spot, you never know! COYI!”.
The acronym used by Harris refers to the phrase “Come On You Irons,” used by West Ham United fans. The team also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, writing: “We’ve had a phenomenal response to our first collaboration with Iron Maiden, selling out multiple times. The fan reaction has been incredible, with huge engagement on social media. We are now excited to launch the ‘away’ shirt first exclusively at officialwesthamstore.com with new styles to be released in the future as we continue this successful partnership.
