Iron Maiden 's game Legacy Of The Beast will feature a collaboration with Amon Amarth for the launch of the Viking Invasion event, a recurring theme in the Swedish band's music.
Jocke Wallgreen , drummer for Amon Amarth, participated in a stream on the game's official Twitch channel this Tuesday, the 13th, to announce the collaboration. In addition to Eddie, players can now count on Berserker, from the cover of Amon Amarth's album of the same name, released in 2019.
“When we were invited to have our Berserker in the game, it didn’t seem real because Eddie is legendary, and now we’ve created our own Eddie, so to speak,” Wallgreen commented on the stream. “It’s a perfect union and we’re honored.”
Legacy of the Beast is a war RPG for Android with over four million players worldwide, according to Loudwire . The new character seeks revenge against those responsible for the attack on his birthplace and the murder of his family.
