Lynyrd Skynyrd was in Brazil at the end of September for two shows on their 50th anniversary tour. During their time in the country, musicians Johnny Van Zant and Rickey Medlocke spoke with Wikimetal about the band's history, the future of rock, and a possible new album.

The conversation took place before their performance at Espaço Unimed in São Paulo on September 22nd, and the artists discussed various topics, such as their different influences over the years, advice for new artists, and even the curious line-up they would be performing at the Jaguariúna Rodeo Festival in the interior of the state.
