Suicidal Tendencies has regained control of the band's official Instagram account after being offline for three weeks. The profile was taken down by the social network's administration because of the band's name, which means "suicidal tendencies."
The band's description in their bio probably didn't help: "If you're not suicidal, you're nothing!", the bio reads. Despite everything being part of the band's lyrical universe, the profile was flagged and removed based on the social network's guidelines and filters to find and remove content potentially related to suicide and self-harm.
“As many of you have noticed, our Instagram account has been down for the past 3 weeks. Long story short, this had nothing to do with 'us', but everything to do with our name,” the group explained in their first post back. “This isn’t the first time we’ve been flagged, but we hope it’s the last. We’ll talk more about this later.”.
