The floods that occurred in Rio Grande do Sul shocked the country and mobilized many people. One of the initiatives created was Arrecada Rock & Metal pelo Rio Grande do Sul, uniting digital influencers, musicians, and rock/metal artists.
The project aims to help victims through fundraising. Using the Vakinha platform, people can donate any amount they wish, and for every R$25 donated, they have a chance to participate in a prize draw, with prizes ranging from musical instruments to t-shirts, CDs, and vinyl records.
To explain it more clearly, by donating less than 25 reais you contribute to the cause, but you are not eligible to win prizes, but if you donate 100 reais, you have four chances to participate in the raffle.
The goal is to reach R$200,000, which will be entirely allocated to institutions, such as Meu Lar de Volta, and affected families.
Donations are accepted until July 31st, with the winners being announced on August 2nd in a live stream on the cause's Instagram profile.
There are many brands involved, including Solar Guitars, Edifier, Seizi Guitars, Spy Eyewear, Sick Clothing, Earth, Amazing Guitars, and Norris Imports.
The cause also has the support of Aquiles Priester , Raphael Dafras , Christófaro Amilcar , and Kiko Freitas , as well as a number of other artists.
Involved in the action are the influencers Caio Calil , Gustavo Fonseca (Gusta Hill), Ian Garbinato (O Cara do Metal), Pablo Portilho , Raphael Casotto , Stephanie Cecilia (Srta Pepper) and Vinicius Castellari .
