Formed in 2019, the band, consisting of Caio Gabriel (vocals), Victor Henrique (bass), Leo Konishi (guitar), Kenzo (guitar), and Fox Mars (drums), defines its sound as a fusion of heaviness, melody, poetry, and fun—elements that are certainly perfectly balanced on their debut EP, Liminal, released in early 2023.
With lyrics in Portuguese, the band manages to convey a feeling of anger, anguish, and, incredibly, hope, a unique quality that few current bands possess. Their lyrics, while expressing all the inner pain of a bitter lyrical self, also convey the feeling that a light at the end of the tunnel is near.

The instrumental aspect of the EP is a show in itself. While it features extremely frenetic and heavy passages, the melodic moments accompanying the vocals create a very interesting and typical contrast for the style, which, if poorly executed, can sound messy, but that wasn't the case here. The brutal and melodic parts converse in a very balanced harmony.
Inconsistency ranges from melodic to aggressive on debut EP
Caio's vocals, which range from clean to guttural, surprise with a very powerful range and a very cool melodic sense that, when combined with the strong and desperate gutturals, create an atmosphere that evokes a second personality dialoguing with you, challenging you to go through contemplative and introspective lines and raw and desperate passages that bring the main characteristic of the work, as in the tracks "Paradigma" and "Voz Passiva".
Although metalcore isn't the style I've listened to most, this album went down perfectly for me, which is a great sign, as it can serve very well as an entry point to the genre and attract a very broad audience. The melody, poetry, and heaviness are perfectly harmonized, showing that the current crop of bands is truly delivering a product worthy of attention.
