After a series of double releases in 2020, the São Paulo-based band Impavid Colossus begins its plans for world domination alongside the Wikimetal Music , presenting today, the 19th, "Home Of The Brave," the debut single from the band's first full-length album, which is coming soon.
The track emerged in 2019, the day after guitarist Marcelo Barchetta met fellow guitarist Felipe Ruiz at vocalist Enrico Minelli . “I sent it to Enrico, he liked it, he already composed the melodies and sent it back to us. As soon as we finalized the agreement, he started thinking about the lyrics,” recalls Marcelo. The single becomes even stronger with the music video, directed by Felipe Schmidt of Bemloc, and filmed in just one day.
“Home Of The Brave” is just the first preview of what the band will share with the world on their first album, composed and produced by the artists themselves. “We are very happy with the result of the band's debut album,” says Felipe. “I hope everyone can get emotional, as they do every time they listen to these songs that we composed with great care and love for our sound and the audience that consumes our music.”
And the only debut album from Impavid Colossus is really their first, because the band, formed by Enrico Minelli (vocals), Marcelo Barchetta (guitar), Felipe Ruiz (guitar), Guilherme Malanga (bass) and Alexandre Iafelice (drums), has a long musical career, and has been part of renowned bands in the national and international scene, such as Cruz , Owl Company, Rancore and Supla , having the opportunity to play on various stages around the world and record with heavyweight producers like Matt Wallace and Jay Baumgardner.
