Impavid Colossus announced last Monday, the 18th, the departure of drummer Alexandre Iafelice, who . The four remaining members will continue with the band and with plans for the new album and upcoming shows.
"Unfortunately, Ale is no longer part of Impavid and is moving on with his career," the band wrote on social media. "We remain very good friends; it was a mutual decision and it's the best one for him and the band at this time."
"Ale was a fundamental part of this cycle, his work will never be forgotten, a good person, a really good guy, and one of the best drummers there is. There's not much to say other than to thank our friend."
Although they haven't yet revealed who the new drummer is, Impavid Colossus hinted in their post that they've already met with the new member and that it's a "brutal" collaboration. For the August 10th show in São Paulo, exclusively, the band announced that drummer Leto Ferreira , from Gloria , has volunteered to play with them. "We're very grateful to him too, another monster! It's going to be fucking awesome!!!", they guaranteed.
