Immortal's new album will be released on July 6th
After nine years without releasing a studio album, the Norwegian band Immortal will release Northern Chaos Gods , featuring 9 tracks, on July 6th.
The album was produced by Peter Tägtgren, who also worked with the band on At The Heart Of Winter , Damned In Black , Sons Of Northern Darkness , and All Shall Fall .
“We put a tremendous amount of energy into this and wanted to deliver our best ,” said Demonaz and Horgh. “It was a pleasure to finalize the studio process and, above all, to be satisfied with the final result. Peter Tägtgren did an excellent job on the production and mixing. We look forward to releasing it and are excited to share our ninth album with you all.”

The band will release the title track single from the album on 7-inch vinyl, in 3 different colors.
Immortal now consists of Demonaz on guitar and Horgh on drums. Demonaz took over vocals after Abbath's departure in 2014.
