Ihsahn is back with the track “Spectre At The Feast,” which comes with a music video. The song will be on the artist's new EP, Pharos , scheduled for release on September 11th.

“I think it’s the most straightforward and direct song on the EP,” Ihsahn tells Metal Hammer about the track. “It has an almost pop-rock attitude. Lyrically, it’s like a fly on the wall’s view of society – all the superficial, stupid things that people make into special things when they’re not. The song is analyzing when that charade will fall apart.”

Emperor vocalist contains three original tracks, “Spectre At The Feast”, “Losing Altitude”, and “Pharos”, as well as two unusual covers, “Roads” by Portishead and “Mahattan Skyline” by A-HA .
