Iggor Cavalera has launched a YouTube channel to share a series of videos in which he will tell stories from his career.
Titled Beneath the Drums , the series has released its first episode. In it, the drummer talks about "Territory," from the classic album Chaos AD (1993), and recounts the creative process behind the track.
“I was trying to recreate this drum part with Tim Alexander from Primus , looping it to try and get this crazy drum fill. My brother [ Max ] came into the studio and said, ‘That’s really cool, we should try that as part of the song.’ And that became the famous drum part on ‘Territory’,” he said.
