The singer recreated an iconic scene from a documentary starring Andy Warhol.

The punk band Death Valley Girls released the music video for their new track “Disaster (Is What We're After)”, in which Iggy Pop appears as the main star, paying homage to Andy Warhol.

In the video directed by Kansas Bowling, the singer appeared eating a hamburger, just as the artist Warhol did in the film 66 Scenes From America in 1982. Upon releasing the clip, the group revealed that the idea to recreate the scene with Iggy Pop came from the director, but they immediately accepted. "It was our rock and roll dream come true," they said.

Death Valley Girls, consisting of Bonnie Bloomgarden, Larry Schemel, Laura Kelsey , and Patty Schemel , will release a new studio album titled Darkness Rains on October 5th via Suicide Squeeze Records.
