In a recent interview, Iggy Pop talked about his youth and the strange experiences he had. He was asked about a time when Iggy got his tongue stuck in a power outlet.
“Well, it was a transformer, actually,” Pop corrected. “I smoked cobwebs too. You know, you have to start somewhere.” As for the experience, he described it as “heavy.”
When asked if he was surprised to still be alive, he said: “No, it’s all a matter of strategy. My psychiatrist told me that in the 70s I had an incredible sense of strategy. You get to a certain place and you know when to take a step back. I’m a very conservative guy in my day-to-day life. I go to bed early,” he said.
