Iggy Pop released his 19th studio album this Friday, the 6th.
Titled EVERY LOSER , the work features appearances by Chad Smith ( Red Hot Chili Peppers ), Duff McKagan ( Guns N' Roses ), the late Taylor Hawkins ( Foo Fighters ), and Travis Barker ( blink-182 ), among others. The album was produced by Andrew Watt.
EVERY LOSER follows Free , released in 2019, marking his last album of original material. Iggy Pop, however, continued working and released a variety of projects such as The Bowie Years, The Acid Lands , and the 10th-anniversary edition of Après , which came out in 2022.
The new album features 11 tracks, including the previously released singles “Frenzy” and “Strung Out Johnny,” and navigates between classic punk sounds and something more pop and even mellow. Listen to EVERY LOSER:
