"James Bond" is on Iggy Pop's upcoming album, Free.
Iggy Pop has released another song, “James Bond.” The track will be on his upcoming album Free , which will be released on September 6th. This is Iggy Pop's first LP since 2016's Post Pop Depression
Free has nothing in common sonically with its predecessor – or with any Iggy Pop album.
“It’s an album where other artists speak for me, but I lent my voice…,” Iggy said. “After the Post Pop Depression , I was sure I’d gotten rid of my insecurity. I also felt drained. I wanted to walk away, turn my back, be free. I know that’s an illusion and that freedom is just something you feel. But I also know that, in life, that feeling is all we seek – not happiness, or love necessarily, but the feeling of being free. This album just happened to me, and I let it happen.”
