The track is part of the band's debut album.
The American band I Prevail released the music video for “Rise,” concluding the cycle of their debut album Lifelines (2016). In the video, the band playfully explores their competitive side alongside children in an arcade.
“We’ve wanted to make a video for ‘Rise’ ever since we released Lifelines,” guitarist Steve Menoian in a press statement, “The song is about competition and dedication that accompanies your journey of overcoming difficulties and surpassing obstacles.”
Currently, I Prevail is touring the United States and participating in festivals such as Rock On The Range, Rocklahoma, and Rockfest. To date, the album has sold over 400,000 copies worldwide, and news about a second album should be released soon.
I Prevail consists of Brian Burkheiser (vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (vocals), Steve Menoian (guitar), and Dylan Bowman (guitar), and during tours Eli Clark (bass) and Gabe Helguera (drums) complete the lineup.
