Three Days Grace has reached a new career milestone. Their song "I Hate Everything About You" has surpassed one billion plays on Spotify, making Three Days Grace the second Canadian band to achieve this feat.

In a statement, the band commented [via Blabbermouth ]: “As crazy as it is to think that our band, formed as teenagers in a small town in Canada, would have a song with a billion plays, what’s even crazier is how many wedding songs it has, lol.”

Three Days Grace surprised fans with the announcement of the return of their original vocalist, Adam Gontier , after 11 years. The Canadian band will now feature two vocalists in its lineup and announced the new album Alienation for August 22nd via RCA Records .

Songs that break the one billion stream barrier are automatically selected for the Billions Club . This playlist, which started in 2020, includes all the tracks that have broken this record on Spotify.

Some of the songs that have achieved this milestone are “Paradise City” by Guns N' Roses , “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica , “Paranoid” by Black Sabbath , as well as “With Or Without You” by U2 , “Basket Case” by Green Day , “Numb” by Linkin Park , among others.
