Aerosmith has become the newest member of Spotify's Billion Play Club with their 1998 single "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing." The track, which was featured in the film Armageddon , has surpassed 1 billion plays.

The Billions Club is a playlist launched by Spotify in 2020 that includes all songs that have reached a billion plays on the streaming service. Upon achieving this milestone, the artists are presented with a special plaque. 

Some of the songs that have achieved this milestone are “Paradise City” by Guns N' Roses , “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica , “Paranoid” by Black Sabbath , “With Or Without You” by U2 , “Basket Case” by Green Day , “Numb” by Linkin Park , among others.

To celebrate the achievement, the band  expressed their gratitude and happiness on social media:

“'I Don't Want To Miss A Thing' has reached 1 BILLION streams on @spotify! Thank you, #BlueArmy. We couldn't have done it without you,” wrote the official Aerosmith Instagram account.
