Hurricanes released the single “Purple Clouds” this Thursday, the 27th, via ForMusic Records . The track will be featured on the group's first album, which is scheduled for release sometime in 2023.

Characterized by captivating guitar riffs, the song brings together the essence of 70s blues and rock with a contemporary sound. The music video, which can be seen at the end of this article, shows footage from the studio recording.

“'Purple Clouds' is a familiar song to those who attend our shows,” revealed guitarist Leo Mayer . “It was one of the first songs written by me and vocalist Rodrigo Cezimbra , right when we arrived in São Paulo in 2018. Until then, it had only been released in a more raw live session. This more complete version features Jimmy Pappon on Hammond organ and Júlia Danesi and Lucille Berce on backing vocals, in addition to a more refined production!”

Previously, the band had already released the lead single " The Bird's Gone ".

After opening for The Black Crowes in Brazil, Hurricanes will perform for the first time at House of Legends in São Paulo. The energetic, original performance will take place on April 30th, and tickets are now available .
