The Brazilian rock and blues band Hurricanes has released their second studio album, Back To The Basement .
The new album, already available on all platforms, arrives a year after the group's self-titled debut album, which was very well received by the public. Back to the Basement contains 8 tracks produced by the band's guitarist, Leo Mayer .
As the title itself indicates, Back to the Basement was born in a basement, in the home of bassist Henrique Cezarino , during unpretentious rehearsals a few months after the release of their first album.
“We started writing a second album without any idea of a release date or anything, and to our surprise things started moving very quickly. We started drafting the album in December of last year, and by February or March, we were already in the studio recording,” says Leo.
The band was founded by Leo and vocalist Rodrigo Cezimbra in 2016 in southern Brazil. In 2018, they moved to São Paulo, where they met drummer Guilherme Moraes and bassist Henrique Cezarino.
Back to the Basement is a release from the ForMusic Records label, and is now available on all platforms, and on CD via Wikimetal Store .
