Carreta Furacão accuses CPM 22 of sabotage during show.

"Trenzinho da Alegria" claims that the hardcore band behaved disrespectfully.

CPM 22 and Carreta Furacão played at a private event last Saturday, the 2nd, in Mairiporã, São Paulo. The event was not specified, but the famous group Carreta Furacão claims to have had problems with the hardcore band, as they reported through social media last Monday, the 4th.

In a statement of protest, Carreta Furacão said that the musicians from CPM22 directly interfered with the "train of joy" performance, in addition to intentionally reducing the volume of the sound, thus harming the show.

Carreta Furacão also emphasized that it "has always valued and continues to value respect, art, and commitment to the public."

Carreta Furacão issues statement of condemnation.

Read the note below [via Folha ]:

"Carreta Furacão publicly expresses its repudiation of the disrespectful behavior of the band CPM 22 during our performance at the event held on August 2nd, 2025. While we were on stage fulfilling our official show time, the band members began sound checks and lighting tests, directly interfering with the execution of our performance."

There was even a deliberate reduction in the volume of our sound on several occasions, which severely harmed the audience's experience and the integrity of the show. Like CPM 22, we are artists. We have a history that, through much effort, has earned the respect and admiration of the Brazilian people. Therefore, it is unacceptable for any professional in the arts and entertainment industry to sabotage the work of other artists, especially in a space where everyone should be united to bring joy to the public.

We stand in solidarity with the fans who were expecting a complete and vibrant performance from Carreta Furacão. We will continue steadfastly, as always, bringing our art, dance, and charisma throughout Brazil with respect, humility, and professionalism.”

The statement went viral on social media, but so far the band CPM 22 has not commented.
