The Curitiba-based band Humanal dives ferociously into thrash metal with their new single "A Resistência," released at the end of October, a fast-paced, intense track with a catchy chorus.
Wikimetal 's discoveries on Groover National Pride list , Humanal now features extreme metal vocalist Tati Klingel , completing the lineup as a quartet alongside André Lazzaretti (guitar and backing vocals), Mauricio Escher (bass), and André Preto (drums).
Now two years old, the band finds new strength with its current lineup, bringing the band's first composition in Portuguese, which released its debut EP Humanal , with singles like "Apathy," earlier this year.
“The music has a sound strongly inspired by thrash metal, fast and concise, but without losing the groove. For us, 'A Resistência' (The Resistance) is a cry of defiance, from those who refuse to be silenced in the face of reality, and a real punch in the face of the 'good citizen'. We want to convey a message of courage and resilience to all who struggle to survive amidst the chaos of our country,” the band comments.
Currently, the band is finalizing the creative process for their debut album, scheduled for release in the first half of 2023.
