After 11 albums with bands like Shaman, Andre Matos, Remove Silence, and Viper , Hugo Mariutti, chosen by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 60 best guitarists in Brazil of all time, releases his first solo CD, "A Blank Sheet Of Paper". The project was funded through the crowdfunding website Catarse, reaching its goal in just one week of campaigning. The CD was mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London by renowned engineer Frank Arkwright, famous for working with bands such as Oasis, Coldplay, Arcade Fire, and others. In terms of repertoire, those accustomed to the heavy sound of his previous projects will be surprised. Hugo bets on a mix of British Rock with electronic elements, with influences ranging from Radiohead to Depeche Mode. |

With the exception of a few guest musicians who will be playing live with Hugo, he recorded and arranged all the instruments, and was also responsible for mixing and producing the CD.
In its first week of release, "A Blank Sheet Of Paper" already gained prominence on the R7 portal, with an extremely positive review, placing Hugo as one of the great composers in the country.
