Guitarist and producer Hugo Mariutti was a guest on Happy Hour Wikimetal 's interview program , and spoke to journalist Larissa Catharine Oliveira about the meaning of the song "I'm Running," part of his new solo album, The Last Dance , and the end of Shaman .
The Last Dance was released in June of this year and features the track "I'm Running," which, according to the guitarist, was the first song he wrote after the band broke up.
“It was a sad thing, because we had a sad thing which was losing Andre [ Matos ], and we came back, resumed, then the pandemic came and then we came back, made an album, were on tour. There's nothing aggressive about it, it's just the frustration of seeing a long-term project end in such a sad way.”
