A professional musician since the early nineties with an internationally recognized career among critics and fans, guitarist Hugo Mariutti will present a solo show on October 29th at La Iglesia Borratxeria in São Paulo, starting at 9 PM. Hugo will showcase, after four years, songs from the albums * For A Simple Rainy Day * and *A Blank Sheet Of Paper *, as well as unreleased tracks from his solo career.
Currently in Shaman and having previously played with VIPER , Andre Matos , and other bands, Hugo Mariutti will have a top-notch team accompanying him in this special show. Alongside him are Edu Cominato (drums – Spektra , Jeff Scott Soto , Geoff Tate ), Flavio Marchesin (bass – Golden Duck Orchestra , Satan's Alliance ), and Roger Benet (guitar – Nite Stinger ), with a guest appearance by vocalist Gabrielle Rousseau.
Hugo Mariutti comments on his solo show: “This show in São Paulo will be a special moment in my career. It's been a while since I've performed my songs live with my bandmates, and I wanted to show them how they sound live. I'll do my best to give the fans the best performance.”
Unlike the work of the bands Hugo has previously been a part of, the albums For A Simple Rainy Day and A Blank Sheet Of Paper are influenced by English bands such as The Beatles , Radiohead , The Verve , and others.
