Hugo Mariutti , music producer and former guitarist of Shaman , released a new single from his solo career today. The track, titled "Blur," is an acoustic ballad with a grand chorus, accompanied by a string orchestration.
“Blur” is Hugo’s first release since the end of Shaman’s activities, which he announced earlier this month via Instagram.
The single is expected to be part of a new album, which has been in the works for some time, according to a statement released to the press. This will be his third solo album, following For a Simple Rainy Day (2017) and A Blank Sheet of Paper (2014), as well as the singles “Why”, “Poems” and “Gone”.
In his solo work, Mariutti explores introspective compositions and sounds that differ from the heavy metal for which he is often known.
