Hugo Mariutti releases this Friday, the 22nd, “Out Of Time (You Don't Know)”, the last sample from his new album This Must Be Wrong . The guitarist's fourth solo album will be available on September 5th.

“It was the last song I wrote for the project,” Hugo comments. “A guitar that a friend left with me ended up inspiring the song, and it has elements of post-punk, and at the same time something from the 90s. The lyrics talk about depression, an illness that haunts many people and, even in 2025, many people underestimate. I wanted to show the perspective of someone who has already gone through it and be able to speak openly about the issue.”

As anticipated in the single “Heaven”, the artist maintains a desire to reinvent himself with each project and, in this phase, turns his gaze to more introspective compositions, exploring sounds that move away from the heavy metal that consolidated his career. This Must Be Wrong arrives after The Last Dance (2023), his first work after the end of Shaman , and continues the challenge of exploring new directions.

“Out Of Time (You Don't Know)” is a ForMusic Records .
